ㆍ 요구에 부응하는 새로운 출판 시장 개발에 도움
ㆍ 프로젝트 관리 및 관련 업무 (예산, 스케줄)
ㆍ 프리랜서 직원 관리
ㆍ 내용 편집, 원고 편집, 교정
ㆍ 시장과 고객 요구 및 유행에 대한 조사 및 이해
프로젝트 관리에 더하여, 주로 번역 검토 및 원고 편집 작업을 하게 되며, 프로젝트 관리와 실제 편집 업무 사이를 쉽게 전환 가능한 인재를 찾고 있습니다. |

자격 조건 |
ㆍ 한국어 및 영어 능통자, 또는 고급 수준의 영어 능력을 갖춘 한국인
ㆍ ELT (영어 교육 업계) 관련 경력자 (영어 강의 또는 세일즈&마케팅 업무 경력)
ㆍ 출판 관련 업무 경력자
ㆍ 편집 관련 업무 경력자 (번역 검토 및 편집 경력 선호)
ㆍ 다문화에 대한 이해 및 뛰어난 커뮤니케이션 능력 소유자
ㆍ 진취적으로 독립적인 업무 수행 가능자 (한국지사에 단 한 명의 에디터 근무 예정)
ㆍ 새로운 소프트웨어 및 컴퓨터 사용 능숙한 자 |

Oxford University Press, one of the world's leading educational publishers, is looking for an Editor of English Language Teaching (ELT) materials to join a small editorial team providing custom publishing for Asia. Based in Seoul, Korea, the position involves work on Korea-specific publishing.
Candidates must have ELT experience (teaching or sales & marketing) in Korea as well as editorial experience. |

activity |
ㆍ Helping develop the shape of new market-specific publishing
ㆍ Project managing several local projects (budgets, schedules)
ㆍ Managing freelance staff
ㆍ Content editing, copy editing, proof-reading
ㆍ Researching and understanding the market and customer needs and trends
In addition to project management, the position will involve a significant amount of translation review and copy editing and the editor should be able to switch easily between project management and
"hands-on" editing work |

ㆍ Basic working hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00-18:00
ㆍ Occasional weekend work; some domestic and international business trips |

Candidate
profile |
ㆍ Fully bilingual or native Korean with advanced level English
ㆍ ELT experience (teaching and/or sales & marketing)
ㆍ Work experience in publishing
ㆍ Editorial experience (preferably with experience of translation review and editing)
ㆍ Cross-cultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills
ㆍ Able to demonstrate initiative and work independently (there will only be one editor in Korea)
ㆍ Computer literate and quick with new software |
