¡á It helps students take full advantage of the Internet as a classroom resource. ¡á Students do not need to have advanced computer skills to use the course. Three introductory ¡®Computer Skills Units¡¯ bring less-experienced students up to speed on computer terminology, word processing operations, Web-surfing and e-mail. ¡á Vocabulary-building tasks prepare learners for the words and expressions they may encounter on the Internet. ¡á Pair work and group work activities give students the chance to share information and opinions and practice their speaking skills. ¡á A ¡®Language Window¡¯ in each unit contains useful grammatical structures that support the conversation tasks in each unit. ¡á A Teacher¡¯s Book gives notes on presenting the units, optional activities, photocopiable resource pages, tests, and lists of useful URLs.
