After working as a teacher of English in Europe and Africa, and studying Applied Linguistics at the University of Birmingham, he became involved in OUP’s Graded Readers publishing in 1990. In recent years he has lectured widely on ELT methodology, principally on topics related to Graded Readers and Extensive Reading.
