About the author of Let's Go

specializes in training teachers of children. She is the creator of the popular MAT METHOD which focuses on teaching output in oral as well as in reading and writing skills through unique and fun techniques. Ms. Nakata is also the well-known author of the LET'S GO series (Oxford University Press).

About the author of Music & Song

has taught English for 24 years in Florida, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Japan. He is currently working at Dokkyo University in Japan. He is the author of Music and Song with Oxford University Press and is the series editor for TESOL's Professional Development in Language Education series.

Music and Song shows how any piece of music - from folk and classical to jazz, rock and pop - can be exploited in an immense variety of ways in the language classroom. The author demonstrates how teachers can 'tune in' to students and use their musical interests to enhance their learning.
