has worked as a teacher and teacher trainer in Britain, France, China, Tibet and Madagascar and run short courses and seminars for teachers in many other parts of the world.  She is the author of nineteen resource books for teachers, including the Longman Communication Games series, five books in the new Oxford Basics series and Classroom Dynamics. She has also written two travel books and a novel.

is Managing Editor, Graded Readers at Oxford University Press. After working as a teacher of English in Europe and Africa, and studying Applied Linguistics at the University of Birmingham, he became involved in OUP¡¯s Graded Readers publishing in 1990. In recent years he has lectured widely on ELT methodology, principally on topics related to Graded Readers and Extensive Reading.
