As part of its commitment to excellence in education, Oxford University
Press Korea supports language teachers in Korea through its teacher
training presentations and programs. Whether you are a career professional
in an academic environment, or a hagwon teacher new to the job, we
have something to offer you.
Oxford workshops give practical activities and ideas for teaching
various Oxford courses whereas Oxford Teacher Development Days provide
theoretical lectures for the more academic-minded. Individual school
presentations are also available, including ready-made presentations
on a variety of teaching areas, or tailor-made presentations to
suit the specific needs of your teachers and school.
In addition, we offer regular teacher training certificate programs,
as well as providing in-service teacher training, focused discussion
workshops, and many other services to promote teacher development
in Korea.

Oxford University Press Korea supports language
teachers in Korea through its teacher training presentations
and programs.
All of our in-house ELT Consultants are trained
and experienced professionals who can provide
you with valuable insight into the methodology
of teaching English as a foreign or second language
(TESOL).
Our consultants regularly visit individual schools
upon request to give teacher-training presentations.
We have ready-made presentations in an array
of teaching topics, or we can create presentations
tailored to the needs of your teachers and school.
We hope you will take the time to browse the presentation

Oxford University Press Korea regularly hosts
workshop tours by authors and in-house ELT Consultants
at various cities around Korea.
Workshop tours are interactive teacher training
sessions that concentrate on a particular series
and/or topic (ie. storytelling, Classic Tales).
The focus is on practical teaching ideas, and
workshops provide activities that can be immediately
taken into the classroom.
Click on Workshops Menu to see videos of our past
workshops or information about upcoming workshop tours.
Bookstores occasionally host individual workshops,
so consult your local English Plus or English
language bookstore for any upcoming workshops.

Part of Oxford University Press¡¯s professional
development service includes teacher-training programs.
In these programs, teachers attend regular seminars,
at the end of which they earn a certificate. If
teachers successfully complete three certificate
programs, they receive a comprehensive diploma.
These certificate programs are held regularly
(two programs a year), and each program has a
specific focus (ie. young learners).
For more information about our next teacher training
certificate program, please contact the Oxford
University Press Korea office at (02) 757-1327
or oxford@oxford.co.kr.
